This creative collaboration between Maria Triantafillou, designer and creative director of Crochelle, and the charismatic photographer Effie Grigoriou, resulted in dreamy images which bring together the fragile and the empowered, the alluring and the inspiring of the female sensitivity.
Furthermore, a minimal and serene environment, ideal for showcasing the intricate details of each gown, Maria aimed in exploring the female soul and silhouette in its wholeness, powerful in its poetic elegance, vulnerable but at the same time strong, sometimes emotional and others, distant. Plants and fruits used, symbolize purity, fertility and delicacy or passion and sensuality. Effie, a lover of natural light, created pristine bright images to express a youthful positivity and innocence, added pale hues to underline the old world echo of the designs, but also used some extra blur to create a dream world for a woman who could be shining in a lavish gown in 2019 or even 1919…
