Nafplio is one of the most picturesque towns in the eastern Peloponnese. A coastal city that is the capital of the regional unit of Argolis and an important touristic destination with many sights to see! And one of them is the famous Castle overlooking the town. The ancient walls, medieval castles, monuments and statues, Ottoman fountains and Venetian or neoclassical buildings. Actually, you will find Frankish, Venetian and Turkish culture influences in architecture and traditions. Subsequently, the city has a romantic history, tracing back to the prehistoric era. And according to mythology, founded by the son of god Poseidon, Nafplios!

The couple wanted to incorporate some tradition from both families and cultures, making this day truly theirs.
Coming from England, the bride had her bridesmaids dressed in light blue, for that “something blue”. And combining it with the Greek traditions, she was accompanied by live musicians while walking to the church to meet her husband-to-be.
Xanthe and Orestes also wanted to have their the first look and in this video, you can see the joy and happiness when the groom-to-be first sees his bride-to-be! But most importantly, their undeniable love and joy shined throughout the day! They tied the knot with a huge smile at the Catholic Church of Nafplio, which is actually not so common in Greece, as most religious ceremonies are Orthodox.
Their reception took place by the sea and the frantic dance in the sand followed the moving speeches with cocktails above all, making it a summer night to remember!
They wanted a simple and minimal decor, with the main feature being the the fuchsia of the bougainvillea and the blue of the sea. The style reflected the Hellenic spirit and pieces of Nafplio city! Fairy lights and candles gave the necessary atmosphere for the true summer beach party!
