If any island in Greece reminds us of the lunar landscape, it’s Milos! Here, minimalism is the way to go and this celestial elopement Inspiration on Milos will show you how!
You don’t need much décor for a memorable and impressive elopement on Milos. Its unique geological formations, stark white rocks, and surreal terrain create an otherworldly, celestial ambiance that feels straight out of a romantic sci-fi movie.
Milos: Out-Of-This-World Celestial Location
Natural phenomena such as earthquakes and underwater volcanic activity happening through the the millennia of geological eons, shaped Milos. Resulting in landscapes that closely resemble the moon’s surface. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, this island with its smooth, chalky expanses and dramatic cliffs literally rose out of the Aegean Sea!
A main town or “Chora” and a few small villages with luxury villas and five-star hotels are the few urban installations you will find here! This is the island for explorers and fashion nomads who find luxury in raw beauty and unspoiled nature. Our tip: Rend an SUV or 4×4 if you’re up for exploring the island. Otherwise, have your luxury hotel staff organize it all for you to just relax and get pampered.
The ever-so-famous Sarakiniko Beach, in particular, epitomizes this lunar beauty with its white, undulating rock formations and crystalline blue waters. Offering a striking, minimalist backdrop that is both mesmerizing and unforgettable, it is where KB & Melissa eloped!
