Blush and Gold Luxury Chic Santorini Wedding
Luxury Chic Santorini Wedding with personalized pink macaroons, lush flower arrangements, and white Santorini terraces with infinite views of the blue sea.
This wedding of Will and Heather was a fairy tale dream come true. They said their “I do’s” at Dana Villas in Calder town surrounded by their closest family and friends. The whole event was organized by The Bridal Consultant wedding planners.
From the planner and the bride
It was actually a TV documentary about Santorini that made Will and Heather choose that as their wedding location. Above all, their wish was for a luxury, stress-free event and Dana Villas checked every box. They booked their wedding more than a year beforehand and invited 30 of their closest guests, of which 24 attended. Their wedding week was truly their own, as they could spend the whole week with all of their guests in an incredibly beautiful hotel, where the reception and the ceremony were all in the same place.
Wedding theme and decor
The beautiful wedding theme was very much classical and elegant with ivory, gold and blush colors. The bridal bouquet was in the same style. All flowers, ivory and pink peonies and roses, with the table decoration, were arranged by highly recommended Wedding Wish. They also took care of the favors, which were pink and ivory macaroons in perspex boxes.
The Suit and the Dress
The bride fell in love with her dress designed by Stella York, right after she tried it on. Her shoes, on the other hand, were a different story. They were specially chosen for their wedding. “I have always dreamt about getting married in MANOLO BLAHNIKS…” the bride told us.
Reiss was a one-stop shop for The Groom, Best Man, and Usher’s suits, along with shoes, shirts, ties, and socks! Despite the heat, all the boys looked amazing in their three-piece suits.
The bridesmaid dresses were gold sequin dresses designed by Sorella Vita. Moreover, the gold sparkles stood out from all the white surroundings of the island.
Details of this Luxury Chic Santorini Wedding
This wedding, was actually a destination wedding week holiday for all friends and family, all at once. The group was able to arrange beautiful group meals the night before the wedding and after the wedding, they spent a day on a private catamaran cruise to watch the spectacular sunset.
At Dana Villas, they certainly ensured that all went to plan. On the morning of the wedding, the girls were enjoying their sparkling drinks, canapés and snacks at their private pools at Dana Villas.
For the wedding reception, guests had the choice of a meat or a fish option. The two-tiered wedding cake in white and gold was topped with a gold acrylic ‘Mr & Mrs Ladbury’ laser cut sign.
Our couple chose live music for the ceremony, as the bride walked down the aisle and for after the ceremony and a DJ for the reception dinner.
From the bride
“In between this we spent an hour or so Greek dancing, this was such a good idea as all of our guests were up on their feet dancing the night away!”
“I have a few special memories that lead me to tears every time I relive the moment…from opening my bouquet box to see my stunning flowers for the first time, listening to Will say his vows to me and our first kiss as husband and wife, my Maid of Honour’s reading at the ceremony, all of the speeches…and finishing the evening off cooling down in our private cave pool with complimentary Moet with strawberries and chocolate sauce!
We really have thoroughly enjoyed the last 15 months planning our special day, it has been very stress-free and a complete breeze with the help from Lisa and the rest of the team at The Bridal Consultant. We are truly grateful for everything you have done to help us achieve our dream wedding. Thank You!”
