Contemporary Stylishly Chic Wedding in Thessaloniki
The elegance will always be in style. Penelope and James decided on having a Stylish Chic Wedding in Thessaloniki, where they could celebrate the day with their friends from around the world.
How more simple can it get, than this black and white minimal wedding?
The religious orthodox ceremony was held at the beautiful ancient church located in the town of Thessaloniki, which is on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Site. A must see when visiting Greece!
While the reception took place at the unique and very minimal venue of Megaro Musiki Thessaloniki. What a privilege to be celebrating your special day in such unique and important monuments.

“The absence of color only served as a beautifully blank canvas on which this stunning wedding was designed. Penelope and James are both of Greek origin, living in Australia and it was an honor to coordinate their wedding. Held at The Hagia Sophia in Thessaloniki, one of the oldest churches in the world, the antiquated setting was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful event. Carrying a hand-tied posy of pristine white orchids, the bride wore a Greek lace dress with a simple silhouette. The groom wore a contrasting black suit, with cheeky skull accessory!
Hosting the reception at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, I was keen to carry the contemporary theme into the table centerpieces. Carefully arranged white flowers, deep green foliage with rose gold accents for additional evening sparkle. The beautiful couple was joined by both Australian and Greek guests and the evening reception came to a crescendo with a terrific fireworks display.
Best Bits: A happy wedding, with dancing lasting long into the night under prettily strung white lights.”
