So What Can You Expect From This Year’s Bridal Expo?
10 years ago, the big annual wedding event started for the first time at Zappeion Megaro. One of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the heart of the Athens city. And this year is no different, just bigger and better!
The anniversary celebration is bringing together wedding professionals and couples from all over Greece and the world!
So this year’s Bridal Expo & Bridal Fashion Week will be presented with a distinct aesthetic and elegance. Furthermore, refinement, innovation and inspiration, all in a glamorous atmosphere. Which will inspire even the shy couples who will visit the show!
Top brands and designers will be able to present ideas and services to future brides and groom. As well as network and make new connections with their peers!
Opening In Style
Next to all the exciting new projects, the Bridal Fashion Week in Athens will be hosting the French Designer Margaux Tardits. Parisian fashion will mark the official opening on the first day of the festive 10th edition! Made is Paris, Margaux Tardits Bridal Collection of Glamourous Couture Wedding Dresses is designed for brides looking to shake up convention with a refined elegance!
Margaux Tardits will welcome selected guests and representatives of the press with the support of the Hellenic-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sky Express and the Athens Capital Hotel. Her collection of bridal and evening dresses will be presented to the Greek public on Friday, December 2 at 18.30.
The Bridal Fashion Week
This year, the unique Bridal Fashion Week will also be extinguishing 10 candles on the cake of success! Celebrating together with businesses and designers at this event, which gave the numbers and quality sought by all those involved in bridal fashion and wedding industry. BFW brought more than 63,000 visitors and 340 participants during these years of operation in bridal fashion.
During this special three-day event, 12 distinguished Greek designers will present the trends in wedding dresses and men’s suits with their signature designs. All under the guidance of creative director and well-known Fashion Expert Michalis Pantos, curator of this year’s fashion show.
BFW Schedule
On Friday the show is staring strong with Margaux Tardits from Paris, at 18.30. Followed by the special cocktail party in the VIP lounge designed by the special event planner Dimitra Grigorea of The Event Operator. Where official guests will enjoy the gala of the opening and the catwalks of the designers. Closing the show will be the well-known Greek designer Olga Karaververis, who will transport us with her unique creations of dreamy designs.
On Saturday, up and coming designer Alexandra Kapsala and Leto Konstantinou from Cyprus, will delight brides with their signature designs.
On Sunday Fairytale by Polymnia, Nella Ioannou, Jota Matiaki and Atelier Rene will seduce you in dreamy haute couture creations. And the closing belongs to the well-known designer Anthi Kardara, and to Prince Erotokritos who will propose fashion for next year’s grooms.

The organization this year in the framework of the project, “Greece the Wedding Destination” will publish a special print, which will be sent abroad to the largest offices that organize events and weddings worldwide. Together with videos of the participating designers, which were filmed in their ateliers.
The First Bridal Workshops by Ellwed
New projects and new ideas for the 10 year anniversary of Bridal Expo. From the Tunnel Of Love Ellwed Party to new projects in the horizon! The first Bridal Workshop by Ellwed, offering educational speeches to all couples planning their wedding!
For the first time, the organizers in collaboration with the wedding magazine Ellwed, will present distinguished professionals who will give future brides and grooms the opportunity to listen and receive personal advice on the ideal make-up, hairstyle, photography, video, styling decoration, and of course the overall wedding planning. ESTETICA magazine is also a supporter of this effort. The first Bridal Workshop by Ellwed is planned and organization by The Event Operator.
Mobile Wedding Party
Another first for the 10 year anniversary of Bridal Expo!
Before entering, visitors will meet the welcoming surprise from van and truck bars parked outside Zappeion! Which will offer them ideas and drinks for the most special bachelor or wedding party!!

The Annual Press Event!
Before the start we were invited to this exclusive Press Event Cocktail Party!
A few days before the start of the 10th BFW, journalists, designers and sponsors met at the MOXY hotel, in the heart of the city, in Omonia Square. At a beautiful and warm cocktail party, with the aim of getting to know each other better for this anniversary event, which will take place on December 2, 3 and 4 at Zappeio Megaro.
The newly opened playful MOXY hotel, which is located in major European cities where the group operates, was an impressive location for this Press Party. The atmosphere was even better with delicious cocktails, original finger food and great music.
At the end of this friendly evening, the well-known jewellery store ARAPINIS which will also be exhibiting in Zappeion, offered the charm for 2023! Together with the companies Caudalie Paris and L’Oreal Professional Paris who donated beauty and hair care products.
