The “Renaissance of Love” Fine Art Editorial Shoot from Corfu
Today we are happy to share with you this raw and organic inspiration from one of the Ionian Islands! This Fine Art Editorial Shoot from Corfu will inspire you to go back to basics – back to nature.

This Renaissance of Love inspiration leads us back to nature and reminds us of our core values of love and family. Raw organic and eco-conscious wedding inspiration will show you the island of Corfu in a different way, which you may have never seen before. Fortunately in Greece, you can still find the villages and mentally transport yourself back in time, when everything was simpler and enjoy the luxe Greek farm lifestyle.

Explore the Island’s traditions
Corfu, with its Venetian heritage, has many traditions, but one of the biggest is the celebration of Easter. It is a must-see full week of traditional celebrations. At the Holy Week, as they call it, every day has a traditional activity, from breaking pots to group mass and gathering on the main square. People get their holy fire and enjoy the grand fireworks after the final Easter mass.

From Photographer Karina Papadopoulos:
The beauty of a simpler life was the inspiration behind “The “Renaissance of Love” Fine Art Editorial Shoot in Corfu. While people make everything so complicated, they should put technology away for a while, and live a healthy life with no distractions. I think we all should be thankful for what we have.

The art of having less but enjoying our lives more involves a few simple changes in perspective. First, we must understand where our true values lie and focus on them. Then, we must take time to enjoy the simple things, and slow down and see what is right in front of us.

This is a story about a couple who would like to celebrate their simple life and renew their vows or get married once again in front of their kids. They are grateful for what they have and that they can enjoy simple pleasures.

The narrative for this editorial shoot was influenced by the beautiful and inspiring landscape of the Corfu island; rich in history and blessed with the most spectacular views. As most of the shoots in Greece are made by the seaside, I was thinking of showing a different point of view.

I fell in love with Old Perithia, an ancient village that remains something of an enigma. This Traditional Greek village has an abundance of vineyards, oak trees, and thousands of sheep roaming across the mountainside.

I had the pleasure to work in Greece with all these amazing vendors!”
