Greek Spring Inspired Wedding with Tulips in Tyrnavos
Sofia and George, collage sweethearts, decided to have their spring inspired wedding in a family circle in their hometown.
This wedding had all the Greek traditions in place, from ceremonial dressing of the groom to writing on bride’s shoes and tying the knot at the Orthodox Church. Main color of the day was yellow, of the bridal bouquet, which was simple, yet elegant and full of yellow tulips.
As per the Greek custom, the religious ceremony happened at the evening, when the sun was already setting, and the hot weather was cooling down. After the ceremony the party continued at the chosen venue till the morning hours. Sofia and George, also decided to have “the day after” shoot as husband and wife, to remember their special day.
The whole event was captured by Mirror Studio.
From the bride:
“We met in Kavala where we both studied. We started hanging out as friends and after some time everything was showing that we would soon become a couple. Finally, we are together ever since that October in 2006. Together, with the good and the bad, everything that life brings.
Our Greek wedding took place in Tyrnavos with our family and beloved friends in a moment of our life that will be engraved in our memory. Where, our feelings were overflowing with joy, happiness and love, which is exactly how we want to continue our lives.
Because that we do, we know, “Omnia vincit amor””
